Before Wiring:

Please adjust the settings on the laundry machine board to enable serial communication. Below are brief programming instructions. Refer to the programming manual specific to your laundry machine model for detailed menu instructions.

Machine Display

Open washer door.

Press the following sequence of keys: 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4. Then 'Pro' will appear on the display.

OPTIONS MEANING

Id-0 Disabled communication

Id-1 Enabled communication

Serial Module Connections

Connect WH1G0003 to the RS 485 Converter Module’s side labeled “Reader”.

Then plug in WH1G0004’s 5pin connector to the module side labeled “Girbau”. See reference image below:

Connect WH1G10004’s green, yellow and blue cable into the machine’s RS485 connection on the board, see image below.

Power Connections:

Please consult the Owner’s Manual, under the installation section, before fully connecting WH120006 or WH100010 & PS100007 Power Adaptor to your laundry machine.

Depending on the machine model and voltage, connections may vary.

Note: PS100007 Power Adaptor accepts a wide input from 100-240 V – 50-60HZ 0.8A and output of 12V.

Plug in WH1G0004’s 2 pin connector into PS10007, see reference below:

Connect the other end of PS100007 into WH120006’s 2-pin connector.

Then splice the WH120006 cable using the provided blue wire tab into the machine's power, as illustrated in the reference image below.

Card Reader Connection:

Plug card reader’s data cable into WH1G0003’s card reader connection.

For serial communication, the jumper on the back of the card reader must be on "A" side, example show below:

Machine Board & Coin Connections

Located and removed the original coin drop connection on machine board, labeled as X8 connection.

Then plug in WH1G0003’s 8-pin connector into the machine board’s X8 connection. This connection is required.

Coin Connections

Optional: Take the machine’s original coin drop and plug it into WH1G0003’s coin drop connector. This is only applicable if you are keeping coin as a form of payment.

Coin Meter Lock Configuration

Note: Applicable only if accepting coin

It is recommended to adjust the coin meter box configuration on the machine. This setting is called In the UCM configuration. It will adjust the coin/token insertion settings based on the door's status or program selection.

Tokens/ coins accepted only if the door has been closed and the program selected.

It is recommended to set it to "UCM-0," which ensures that coins are accepted regardless of the door's status or the selected program. Below are instructions to adjust settings. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for specific details.

  • The 2 / 4 keys allow the modification of the option displayed.

  • The 1 key validates the selection on the display and allows the user to access the following programmable

    function.
