Timeplay is a time-based arcade game product. With Timeplay, customers can buy time and play based on their own needs. This document will provide you with the instructions to configure and manage Timeplay products.
Scope: Amusement Market Only; AVU Touch 21
Configure Timeplay Profile on Server
To provide vendors with a centralized, searchable interface for managing Timeplay products, Timeplay has been added as a separate section in the CCM menu.
Click CCM → Timeplay Products in the navigation menu to display all Timeplay products from the vendor.
Timeplay Menu visibility requires CCM View or Write permissions. Time Play product management (create/edit/delete) needs CCM Write permission.

After updating a product, users will need to update the profile on the kiosk. Please refer to VC Touch 21: Kiosk Features for Vendor Section 2: Profile Update for detailed instructions.

Active Timeplay in Universal AVU
After creating Timeplay profiles, you should go to CCM → Universal AVU to activate the products.
In Universal AVU → Machine Profile, select AVU Touch 21" for the AVU type, then the field "Time Play" will display in Price and Configuration → Price Config.

In Price and Configuration → Price Config, enable "Timeplay" and the system will display the pre-configured Timeplay products associated with the selected kiosk location. You may select up to four products from each dropdown list.

Outdated data
If the displayed product details appear outdated, click the circular arrow icon (🔄) next to the 'Select Product' menu. This will fetch real-time data from the server.
Configure Timeplay Settings in Machine Category
To prevent rapid reuse across similar machines and to configure ticket earnings settings, you can set a cool-down period (to limit frequent reuse) and enable/disable ticket earnings.
Both functions are configured in the Machine Category and activated under CCM → Universal Pulse Profile.
Click Machine Category in the dropdown menu of Machines to enter this section.

Click on "Create Category" to create a new category or click "Edit" to configure Timeplay settings on the existing category.

Machines supporting Timeplay products require the configuration of two fields:
Timeplay Card Cooldown: It restricts how soon users can reuse a Timeplay card within the same category after activating a machine, preventing duplicate activation until the specified duration expires; leaving this value unset or at 0 disables the cooldown restriction for the category.
Earn Timeplay Tickets: When enabled, tickets and game rewards generated by the machine are added to the user's cloud card ticket balance.

If the Color Effect related fields are configured, the configurations made here will auto-populate to the corresponding CCM profile of the machine related to this Machine Category when you are creating a CCM profile. You can refer to Universal Pulse - Audio Visual - Color Effect for more details and explanations of the fields.
Active Timeplay Settings in Universal Pulse Profile
After configuration of Timeplay Card Cooldown and Earn Timeplay Tickets in Machine Category, you should go to CCM → Profile Builder → Universal → Universal Pulse to select the corresponding machine category and activate the Timeplay Card Cooldown function and configure the Earn Timeplay Tickets setting.
Click Universal → Universal Pulse → Machine Profile, select "Amusement" as the machine type. The two fields, Timeplay Cooldown and Earn Timeplay Tickets, will be shown in this section.
If no machine category is selected, the Timeplay Cooldown feature will be grayed out. The Earn Timeplay Tickets feature is enabled by default, and will follow the settings in the machine category if one is selected.
2) Select the configured machine category in the drop-down list, and the Timeplay Cooldown field will be configurable. Select "Enable" and the cooldown period you set for this category will take effect on the terminal. The Earn Timeplay Tickets setting will automatically sync with the configuration in the Machine Category.

Click on Universal → Universal Pulse → Machine Profile, and select Amusement as the machine type.

The Timeplay-based transaction records have been added in Transaction Report. The affected sections can be found as below:

2) By clicking on the location's name and redirecting to the Location Performance report, you can find the count of Timeplay added under the Game Card column:
3) The count of Timeplay transactions can also be found in the location’s detail report, which falls into each machine that processed the transactions:
4) The Timeplay transactions can also be found under the Machine Totals column, which records each machine that processed the transactions:
5) In the Payment Type Totals section, you can track the count of Timeplay plays that were used to make multiple payments:
In addition, you can also log in to KioCentral Pro → Transaction Report to check Timeplay records.
Timeplay-based transactions have been added in the Transaction Report so that amusement operators can track the transaction status and details when Timeplay products have been purchased for game plays, allowing users to check the adjustments, initiate refunds, reconcile balances, review the customer’s activities, or even export the data for operational and financial purposes.
Use the filter "Payment Type → Timeplay" to filter out the Timeplay transactions.

There are three types of scenarios relating to Timeplay transactions, and a portfolio of Transaction Type and Payment Type should be selected by using the search bar:
Scenario 1: Kiosk - Timeplay purchases
a. Filter Selection: 1) Transaction Type: Add to Card – Kiosk; 2) Payment Type: Timeplay.
b. Critical columns to note:

- Refund: Click on the Refund button to initiate a refund.
- In the info popup: 1) Transaction Type as Add to Card – Kiosk; 2) Account Balance listing account balance, privilege balance, and Timeplay balance. Timeplay balance should include duration + product name.

Server Deployment

In this section, select the "Enable" for "On-Premise Server," and there will be three mandatory fields (Network Downtime, Server IP Address, and Server Port) displaying underneath it, which should be filled in based on the actual business needs and the location’s server information.
