This document is intended to introduce the cables and the wiring instructions required during Amusement deployment using Gameboard Version 2.

Gameboard to Reader
Please select the connection method that suits your product from the three ways below.
Gameboard to Reader (LX or VX series) of 10-pin Connector with Removeable Pigtail
Usage: Kits requiring Gameboard, , applicable to Ultra LX and Ultra VX series
Cables: WH710001 Gameboard to Reader cable
Instructions:
Connect the 10-pin connector to the Card Reader cable.
Connect the 6-pin connector to the Gameboard connector.

Gameboard to Reader (VQ-M or VQ-FM series) of 10-pin Connector without Pigtail
Usage: Kits requiring Gameboard, applicable to Ultra VQ-M and VQ-FM
Cables: WH710001 Gameboard to Reader cable
Instructions:
Connect the 10-pin connector to the Card Reader.
Connect the 6-pin connector to the Gameboard connector.

Gameboard to Reader (Elevate Touch) of 20-pin Connector
Usage: Kits requiring Gameboard, applicable to Elevate Touch
Cables: WH710066 Gameboard Cable for 20-pin Readers
Instructions:
Note: The reader’s pigtail won’t be used for Gameboard, so if it’s connected to the reader already, please remove it.
Connect the 10-pin connector to the Card Reader.
Connect the 6-pin connector to the Gameboard connector.

Gameboard to Power
12V DC Power (From 110V AC)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard that do not have a Bill Acceptor or use a 24V AC Bill Acceptor
Cables: PS710001 Amusements 12V DC Power Supply
WH710054 Gameboard Version 2 - External Power Supply Cable
WH710029 Amusements 12V DC Power Supply to Tap Splice Adapter Cable
Instructions:
Note, if you are using Ticket Monitoring or Emulation, or the UCL connector on a game, this power connection is not required.
Locate 110V AC Hot and Neutral wires coming into the game. Hot will typically be BLACK and Neutral will typically be WHITE.
Use the supplied tap/splice connectors to tap the HOT and NEUTRAL wires and connect these to the 0.250” Male Quick Disconnect connectors on the WH710029 Amusements 12V DC Power Supply to Tap Splice Adapter Cable. Connect HOT to BLACK and NEUTRAL to WHITE.
Connect the mating 2-pin connector on the PS710001 Amusements 12V DC Power Supply to the Tap Splice adapter cable.
Connect the other 2-pin connector to the WH710054 Gameboard Version 2 - External Power Supply Cable.
Connect the other end of the WH710054 Gameboard Version 2 - External Power Supply Cable to the 4-Pin connector on the Gameboard.

12V DC Power (From Game 12V Supply)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard where power is not included in other cables.
Cables: WH710055 Gameboard Version 2 - Power Tap Cable
Instructions:
Note, if you are using Ticket Monitoring or Emulation, or the UCL connector on a game, this power connection is not required.
Locate the +12VDC and GROUND in the game wiring. +12VDC will typically be RED and GROUND will typically be BLACK or GREEN. Consult your game’s wiring diagram or service manual to verify.
Use the supplied tap/splice connectors to tap +12VDC and GROUND wires and connect these to the 0.250” Male Quick Disconnect connectors on the WH710029 Amusements 12V DC Power Supply to Tap Splice Adapter Cable. Connect HOT to BLACK and NEUTRAL to WHITE.
Connect the bill acceptor connector to the WH710055 Gameboard Version 2 - Power Tap Cable.
Connect the WH710055 Gameboard Version 2 - Power Tap Cable to the Gameboard Version 2 4-Pin connector.

Gameboard to Bill Acceptor
Raw Thrills 3-Pin Bill Acceptor
Usage: Raw Thrills Games using a 3-Pin Bill Acceptor
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710062 Gameboard Version 2 - 3-Pin 12V Bill Acceptor Cable
Instructions:
Locate the 3-pin connector pair between the Bill Acceptor and the Game and disconnect these two connectors.
Connect the bill acceptor connector to the mating WH710062 Gameboard Version 2 - Three-pin 12V Bill Acceptor Cable.
Connect the other WH710062 Gameboard Version 2 - 3-Pin 12V Bill Acceptor Cable connector to the game.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710062 Gameboard Version 2 - 3-Pin 12V Bill Acceptor Cable to one of the first three connections on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable.

9-Pin Bill Acceptor
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard using a 9-Pin Bill Acceptor
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710061 Gameboard Version 2 - 9-Pin Bill Acceptor Cable
Instructions:
Locate the nine-pin connector pair between the Bill Acceptor and the Game and disconnect these two connectors.
Connect the bill acceptor connector to the mating WH710061 Gameboard Version 2 - 9-Pin Bill Acceptor Cable.
Connect the other WH710061 Gameboard Version 2 - 9-Pin Bill Acceptor Cable connector to the game.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710061 Gameboard Version 2 - 9-Pin Bill Acceptor Cable to one of the first three connections on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable.

Gameboard to Coin
Coin (Switch Type)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard that use a single switch coin drops
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710058 Gameboard Version 2 - Mechanical Coin Cable
Instructions:
Remove the two 0.250” female quick disconnect connectors from the game’s coin switch.
Connect the two 0.250” male quick disconnects connectors on the WH710058 Gameboard Version 2 - Mechanical Coin Cable to the female connectors just removed from the coin switch.
Connect the two female 0.250” connectors on the WH710058 Gameboard Version 2 - Mechanical Coin Cable to the coin switch, being careful to use the same two connections that the game used (usually the N.O. normally open and COM common connections). For both connections, it does not matter which wire connects to which location.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710058 Gameboard Version 2 - Mechanical Coin Cable to one of the first three connections on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable.

Coin (Electronic Type – JST XH Connector)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard that use electronic coin drops with JST XH connectors
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710059 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST XH)
Instructions:
Unplug the cable from the back of the coin drop.
Plug the cable from the game into the mating header on the WH710059 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST XH).
Plug the mating header on the WH710059 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST XH) to the coin drop.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710059 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST XH) to one of the first three connections on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable.

Coin (Electronic Type – JST NH Connector)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard that use electronic coin drops with JST NH connectors
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710060 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST NH)
Instructions:
Unplug the cable from the back of the coin drop.
Plug the cable from the game into the mating header on the WH710060 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST NH).
Plug the mating header on the WH710060 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST NH) to the coin drop.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710060 Gameboard Version 2 - Electronic Coin Cable (JST NH) to one of the first three connections on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable.

Gameboard to Ticket Monitor/Emulation
Ticket Monitor/Emulation (DL-1275 Type)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard that require ticket monitoring or emulation of a DL-1275 Ticket Dispenser
Cables: WH710056 Gameboard Version 2 - DL-1275 Cable
Instructions:
If present, remove the cable from the DL-1275 Ticket Dispenser.
Plug the cable from the game into the mating header on the WH710056 Gameboard Version 2 - DL-1275 Cable.
If monitoring, plug the other connector on the WH710056 Gameboard Version 2 - DL-1275 Cable to the DL-1275 Ticket Dispenser. Otherwise, leave this connector unconnected.
Connect the 4-pin connector on the WH710056 Gameboard Version 2 - DL-1275 Cable to the 4-Pin connector on the Gameboard. Note: When using this cable, you do not require a separate power cable.

Ticket Monitor/Emulation (LK-007 or Similar Type)
Usage: All Kits requiring Gameboard that require ticket monitoring or emulation of an LK-007 or similar type Ticket Dispenser
Cables: WH710057 Gameboard Version 2 - LK007 Cable
Instructions:
If present, remove the cable from the LK-007 or a similar type Ticket Dispenser.
Plug the cable from the game into the mating header on the WH710057 Gameboard Version 2 - LK007 Cable.
If monitoring, plug the other connector on the WH710057 Gameboard Version 2 - LK007 Cable to the LK-007 or a similar type Ticket Dispenser. Otherwise, leave this connector unconnected.
Connect the 4-pin connector on the WH710057 Gameboard Version 2 - LK007 Cable to the 4-pin connector on the Gameboard. Note: When using this cable, you do not require a separate power cable.

UCL Connection
UCL Connection (Ticket/Coin Configuration)
Usage: All Games requiring Gameboard that have the Ticket/Coin UCL connection
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710063 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Ticket-Coin Cable
Instructions:
Plug the UCL cable from the game into the mating header on the WH710063 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Ticket-Coin Cable.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 4-pin connector on the WH710063 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Ticket-Coin Cable to the 4-pin connector on the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710063 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Ticket-Coin Cable to one of the first three 2-pin connectors on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable. Note: When using this cable, you do not require a separate power cable.

UCL Connection (Coin/Prize Configuration)
Usage: All Games requiring Gameboard that have the Prize/Coin UCL connection
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710064 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Prize-Coin Cable
Instructions:
Plug the UCL cable from the game into the mating header on the WH710064 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Prize-Coin Cable.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 4-pin connector on the WH710064 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Prize-Coin Cable to the 4-pin connector on the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector labeled Coin on the WH710064 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Prize-Coin Cable to one of the first three 2-pin connectors on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable.
Connect the other 2-pin connectors labeled Prize 1 and Prize 2 on the WH710064 Gameboard Version 2 - UCL Prize-Coin Cable to any open 2-pin connector on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable. Note: When using this cable, you do not require a separate power cable.

Prize Monitor Connection
Usage: All Games requiring Gameboard that need to monitor Prize Counters
Cables: WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable
WH710065 Gameboard Version 2 - Prize Monitor Cable
2 x FS000002 0.250” Tap Splice
Instructions:
Locate the two wires connecting the Prize Counter. Tap each wire with an FS000002 0.250” Tap Splice.
Plug 0.250” male Quick Disconnect on the BLACK wire of the WH710065 Gameboard Version 2 - Prize Monitor Cable to the FS000002 0.250” Tap Splice on the GROUND side of the Prize Counter. Note: It is very important that the BLACK wire connects to the GROUND wire. Damage to the Gamebox could occur if this is not done correctly. Consult your game wiring diagram or contact the manufacturer if you are unsure which wire is the GROUND wire.
Plug 0.250” male Quick Disconnect on the GREY wire of the WH710065 Gameboard Version 2 - Prize Monitor Cable to the FS000002 0.250” Tap Splice on the COINN COUNTER side of the Prize Counter.
Connect the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable to the Gameboard.
Connect the 2-pin connector on the WH710065 Gameboard Version 2 - Prize Monitor Cable to an open 2-pin connector on the WH710053 Gameboard Version 2 - Breakout Cable. It is recommended for a single Prize Monitor to use Channel 4.
